PureLink Adds New HDTools™ DVI over Fiber Extension System
The DOF4 Tx/Rx Delivers Reliable, Long-Haul Transmission of HD Video and Stereo Audio for Multi-room Environments
RAMSEY, NJ – APRIL 3, 2016 – PureLink introduces the DOF4 Tx and DOF4 Rx, now shipping, to its comprehensive line of HDTools™ fiber optic extension solutions. The DOF4 Tx/Rx offers reliable extension of uncompressed HD video at resolutions up to 1080p, as well as analog stereo audio, to distances up to 5000 ft. (1,530 m) over a multimode fiber optic cable.
Why Fiber?
With significantly lower attenuation than copper cables, fiber is the only sensible choice for long runs and high data rates. Fiber is immune to electromagnetic interference, providing optimal signal transmission, and is readily used in government or corporate applications where data security is crucial or required.
The DOF4 Tx and DOF4 Rx can be used for simple point-to-point applications, or in combination with HDTools™ distribution amplifiers, switchers, and rack mount extension systems to deliver a flexible, seamless solution for long distance signal transmission.
